Title: Q and A
Post by: grox on March 10, 2011, 02:00:21 AM
Alright, it seems we've all kinda hit a rut, so, I'm going to try and bring some clarity and light into this place.

Ask me anything and I'll answer it as honestly as possible.

The only stipulation is, IF I answer one of your questions, you have to answer one of mine.

You can ask me anything, my age, my hight, my weight, my likes, dislikes, what are my fears, what do I hate, what do I like, do I have any fetishes, If I do what are they, do I like porn, What games do I play, what kind of games do I play, how often do I play them, and well....

ANYTHING!

So, ask away, and I will answer. I hope you will answer too when I ask you a question.

I wanted to ask a question earlier, but my Internet connection was off.

My question is "Where do you live Grox?"

I live in Sedalia, Missouri.

Home of the state fair, I used to live a considerable ways north of your location Grox, but still south of the Iowa border.  Now then, what pray tell is it that you do for a living?

I clean the Ewing Vocational Center Monday through Friday. My Specific job title is Restroom Technician. Bluntly, I'm the guy that has to clean every bathroom in a 2 story office/warehouse/workshop facility.

UltraSonic, Do you....have a collection of games?

For both Xbox and PC, yes

Xbox:
Halo
Halo 2
Halo 3
Halo Wars
Halo 3 ODST
Halo Reach
FEAR
FEAR Extractioin Point
FEAR Perseus Mandate
FEAR 2
Final Fantasy XIII
Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection
Perfect Dark Zero
The Orange Box
Splatterhouse
Resident Evil 5

PC
Blade Kitten
Bloodrayne
Bloodrayne 2
Half Life
Half Life 2
(and their respective "Deathmatch" titles)
Half Life 2 Episode 1
Half Life 2 Episode 2
Mirrors Edge
FEAR (Same as above)
Borderlands
Halo
Halo 2
Audiosurf
Damnation
Deus Ex 2 Invisible War
Tabula Rasa (A now defunct MMO)
World of Warcraft

And SDK's for pretty much all of the source engine, The basic free one for the Unreal Engine, and a demo for the Torque engine.  None of which are easily handled by my laptop, but when my desktop arrives here in Germany it will handle them with ease.

Here's my favorite question to ask gamers, what was the game you beat the fastest and how fast did it take?

For me, I beat one game in just 6 hours.

Another question for everyone.

Would you rather have power over the elements, or time/space?
Title: Re: Q and A
Post by: SVT number 1 fan on July 21, 2011, 07:54:00 AM
Technically I believe Time and Space are elements because to me an element is anything that governs our world. Such as Fire, Lightning, Nature, and Carbon.

Time and Space, Time and space is all encompassing and would grant control over elements.  I could also destroy the universe in about 10 seconds.

If computers count, I've got the following

Toshiba M305D Laptop (Dead)
Zareason Chimera Laptop (Custom built to spec at the factory)
"Cerberus" (Custom built desktop PC)
Xbox 360

Suffice it to say that I could power skynet.

oky, i guess i'll just jump in with my two cents...

i own...

A Sega master system

A Sega Genesis

A Sega CD

A Sega 32X

A Sega Saturn

A Dreamcast

An NES

A Super NES

A Nintendo 64

A Gameboy pocket

three gameboy advances

a gamecube

a playstation

a playstation 2

and my personal pride and joy, an NEC Turbografx-16.

As you might probably guess, Gaming was a great joy for me in the past, yet sadly today i hang on to a few classics i can keep coming back to.

Runix, dude, I am so jealous of you ATM, I'd love to try playing a 32X, I'd love to at least see a pic of the NEC Turbografx-16, it'd be epic to see that.

Sadly all I own, personally, is a PS2. I have games for the GB as well as the PS3(Seeing as my brother owns those systems and has graicoiusly allowed me to play them when ever I want.). I also own a PC, Custom built.

Have any of you ever wielded a weapon, be it melee or ranged(Including guns and medival weapons in this question.)?

I'm familiar with recurve archery and know how to string a bow, I'm also familiar with and have moderate skill level in quite a few firearms.  (Proudest achievement is a bullet through a quarter at 100 meters with a Sako TRG firing a .308 Winchester).  Smallest round ever fired is the ever popular .22, largest is the 7mm Weatherby Magnum.

Edit: I might add that my favorite round is the 30-06.
