Nyteshade:
Her response is slow. She turns her head towards the man in the door way. Could he possibly be threatening her. That was amusing. She chuckled slowly at that, before her eyes harden into two icy cold gems.

"Realllly...?" She drawls languidly, face still flushed, but enjoyment fading. "You shouldn't interrupt a Lady when she's dining. It's rude."

The darkness swells up around her and the man, swallowing them. They disappear into its cold embrace.  Her voice echos around the warehouse, sounding dark and sinister.

"Surrender...? Really?  That's amusing. Let me think about it for a moment." She says, voice sounding thoughtful.

The corpse of the man Arjen had been sent to capture dances out of one of the shadowed corners. It does a small jerky dance in front of him, before the flesh melts from its bones into blackish-purple ooze that runs back to the shadows like an obedient dog, leaving behind steaming bones.  The bones tremble then fall into a jumbled heap, or at least, it seems that way at first. By the time they finally still they spell out. "I Don't think so, Little Man."

Antipode:
To say that Arjen is perturbed would be an understatement. He finds himself wandering out of the warehouse in a daze, wondering how his simple mission could have gone so suddenly wrong. Clearly the Transcendant Council had not been briefed on this strange, new, super-powered individual, otherwise they would have told him about the potential for confrontation.

He's not sure where he's going, and finds himself in the middle of whatever city he's managed to land in. There are people navigating the sidewalk who pay him no mind; he gets the impression that none of them would be much help to him. He should probably find that strange woman who killed -- ate? he shudders at the idea -- his target and, at the very least, put together a threat assessment to deliver back to his superiors. The thought of returning empty-handed doesn't sit well with him.
