well, guess since no one's posted in a while, I'll post something.
Last Friday, I was coming home from a Lunch meeting with my CSC(Certified Staffing, I don't know what the last C stands for.), on my way home, we passed an antique shop, it had this beautiful Coke-a-Cola soda machine out front with a FOR SALE sign on it. At that moment in time, I knew I had to have it. So, as soon as I got home, I grabbed my iPod, and told my bro "If I'm not back in 30, I'm dragging a Soda Machine home." I then left and power walked all the way to the antique shop, all the while listening to Nickelback's Burn it to the Ground on repeat. I finally get to the antique shop, the soda machine was a five selection soda machine. Had a spot for pop tabs, change, and where the soda's came out.
It was priced at 275 dollars.
I went in, asked a person that worked at the shop about the machine AND.......
They said that it was on Layaway. Some one had already paid a lot for it and only had 50 bucks left to pay on it. My heart stopped, I had heard right, I missed my chance at owning a soda machine. BY A FREAKING WEEK. I asked them what if the person doesn't pay the last 50 bucks they owe? They said that they were still sorry, but there was another person, that had bought a different soda machine from them months ago, and he was offering an extra 100 bucks on top of their asking price. I was so depressed then, I left that store with a few items to cheer myself up. I walked slowly, listening to Nickelback, the music helping my mood, pumping me up with an emotion, I don't know which emotion, but, it wasn't happiness, or pride. It was something different.
I walked a bit quicker, with a better spring in my step to the local comic shop, I thought, I may have not been able to get that soda machine, but I'm getting some of my child hood back. I went in, and bought a Gameboy SP, Pokemon's Red & Blue Versions(Blue for me and Red for my Bro, seeing as he's been wanting a working red version for a long time, since his copy died.), and 3 booster packs of Magic the Gathering TCG. I felt better, knowing I was going to relive my child hood and make my brother happy.
Later that Night, at work, I was in the last Classroom I had to clean, the last Toilet area in that classroom. (I'm guessing you want to know for whom those classrooms are for, they are for preschoolers whom are just learning to aim for the toilet when going pee.) I'm cleaning the walls behind the toilet cause, little Kids have crappy aim. I slip cleaning the wall, Brace myself on the toilet, and the front part of it moves sideways. Not the whole Toilet mind you, just the front part where you sit on moves, not the area with the tank on back. But, it moved so much, the bolts holding it to the floor, broke. I was like, "Crap, crap crap crap." I moved the toilet back into position, thankfully it was broken in such a way that water was going everywhere, no. It was just, the front part had moved sideways and broke the bolts holding it to the floor. I finished Cleaning the wall, grabbed the two bolts, placed them on my cart and went to go find my boss.
I found my boss and said "Hey, I'm done cleaning, and, I'm sorry, I accidentally broke a toilet in the last class room." She said "Really, show me." So, we went back to that class room, I showed her, she laughed, asked where the bolts were, I told her on the cart, she was still laughing and said she was going to have to call our boss. She did and our boss showed up and asked, "You really broke a toilet?" I showed her the bolts, my boss backed me up on it. Our boss laughed and headed towards the last class room, my boss and I followed. We got there, our boss looked at it, laughed, and said "We all accidentally break stuff from time to time, The teachers here have been complaining about these toilets for a long time, maybe this will get them off our backs for a while. I'm going to call maitenance."
She then promptly called them and scheduled them to fix it over the weekend. The rest of the night went by uneventfully, and we all went home happy. Other than the little thing of me breaking the toilet, which almost everyone lol'ed at. I did at least.
AND THIS JUST IN!!
My boss's boss just called me, and told me I don't have to come into work today, the Base is closed cause of the snow, Huzzah!!
